IE8 - Microsoft’s Latest Broswer Incarnation
admin | March 24, 2009Probably the most frequently heard lament around our office is “Why does this have to break in IE6 (Internet Explorer 6)?”.
In October 2006 Microsoft IE7 which had significant new features including tabbed browsing, a page zoom tool plus better support for standard HTML/CSS coding. This not only improved the end user experience, it also made life easier for web developers as they tried to ensure web sites displayed correctly across different browsers. But adoption of IE7 was slow for IE6 users and many people still use IE6 - around 18.85% currently compared to 47.32% for IE7.
